“The meat cloning company, Meaterrific, had already revolutioned the food industry and won the popularity of the American public with its environmentally friendly, vitamin-packed, and disease free products. A Meaterrific product was on nearly every grocery store shelf in America by the time problems were discovered.
The first to get sick were Meaterrific’s own employees. Then, like a plague, it started happening everywhere. Everyone who ate the meat eventually slipped into a coma and died. Not longer after death they would, as one doctor put it, “voluntarily revive themselves,” but in a state of zombiedom where they were reduced to simple motor skills.
