Dancing Friendly Zombies by: Neil Gaiman

It Was a Dark and Silly Night

Neil Gaiman’s comic, “It Was a Dark and Silly Night” has been adapted in animated form for the children. Obviously it is an attempt to warn children of zombies and what they are- creatures that come back to life from the dead. While I love that zombies are becoming main stream I do have to hesitate my endorsement of this film! (And I’m a HUGE Neil Gaiman fan, his non-zombie related book Good Omens is one of my favorites.) This film clearly shows zombies dancing and not chasing after the brains/organs of the children who are just there, offering no resistance. Do we want to live in a world where the innocent are not being warned on how to defend themselves from the outbreak?
