3 Zombie Stories is a feature on BuyZombie to bring you some extra Undead News from around the Internet. If your reading this site than you are a huge fan of zombies in general. Basically this feature is a cop out as quite frankly I am not able to do a write up on everything that passes through my inbox or that I find online alone. The solution? Having been far far too backed up at work as of late I’m going the easy way out on another post for today. I really wish there was more time in the day to write some actual articles and reviews! Sadly this isn’t the case so here are some good reads for you to fill up your undead day!
1. Zombie Home Defense
Zombie Home Defense is a site dedicated to helping you in the events that the outbreak does occur with tips and tricks on keeping yourself safe. If you are a survival nut, a zombie fanatic, or are looking for ways to kill time it’s a good site to read through.
2. Wikinomics lessons from Zombie attacks
Wikinomics lessons from Zombie attacks. This article covers how World War Z shows ways that set institutions would potentially react to a full scale Zombie Outbreak. It uses the demonstration on how the military’s technology helped be it’s own downfall and is a pretty fun read for those who like to analyze what you read past just the general fun filled horror story of the apocalypse. A bit short but a good breakdown of why things turned out they did.
3. World War 2 Pack Adds Imperial Zombies
Call of Duty 5’s Second Map Pack introduces Imperial Zombies. While not as successful as the previous game Call of Duty 4, the 5th installment in this series did add one thing I know all of my readers will love- Nazi Zombies you can kill. While killing Nazi Zombies will never get old, the developers felt that it might be so invoked the only nation in World War 2 that actually attacked the United States- Japan. Yes, Japanese zombies are going to be in the next update and while I can’t fault a nation that can currently give us such gems as Tokyo Zombie, there was a time when we weren’t on the best terms with them and the Call of Duty franchise is trying to capitalize on these days of old!
