Survival of the Dead Is Romero’s Next Zombie Classic
Well hopefully it is a classic. The last 2 entree’s into the zombie genre have been enjoyable but were not as well done as his classics. I have faith that he won’t let us down though! This is Romero we are talking about and you can’t help but get excited over one of his works almost being screened for the first time at The Toronto International Film Festival.
According to Romero, “We’re in the final stages of post-production and it’s great to come up for air and find out the film’s been chosen to appear at the Festival. It’s just a terrific honor.”
So what’s it about? – “GEORGE A. ROMERO’S SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD follows a war-weary band of soldiers who are lured to a remote island that promises to be the last paradise on earth, only to discover that even here there is no escape from the appetites of either the living or the dead.“
