The Father Of The Modern Zombie To Write A Novel

George A. Romero, love or hate his newer movies (I’ve loved even the ‘bad’ ones) you have to respect the man who single handed made zombies mainstream. With his Of the Dead films we have seen a growth in the movies that if you read this site you have to enjoy. So with Survival of the Dead having gone through the circuit and being prepped for a wider release what is our favorite legend working on? Apparently not one, but two novels.

With the rumored title “The Living Dead” it will explore how the zombies came to be. Not only this but it will focus on what zombies can and cannot do. There you go, after so many debates of running and walking zombies- we will finally have an answer to EXACTLY what a Romero zombie is and isn’t capable of. I’m interested and am sure I’ll have to pick it up when it comes out.
