News From Zombieland or The Quest For The Twinkie on DVD and Blu-Ray
Well there is not just one, but two pieces of Zombieland related news that have been floating around the Internet as of late and I’ve been lax on getting both of these up for you. The first and most important is the release information for both the DVD and Blu-ray editions of the movie!
On February 2nd Sony will be releasing the DVD ($28.96) and Blu-ray ($39.95) editions of Zombieland.
Extras will include:
– Commentary with Actors Woody Harrelson & Jesse Eisenberg, Director Ruben Fleischer, Writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick,
– Featurettes (“In Search of Zombieland”, “Zombieland is Your Land”),
– Deleted scenes,
– Visual Effects Progression Scenes,
– A Woke Up Dead Episode “Up and At ‘Em”, and trailers.
The Blu-ray edition will also include a “Beyond the Graveyard†Behind the Scenes Picture-in-Picture Track, and a digital copy of the film.
Aren’t The Undead Better in 3D?
Apparently Sony believes so as they are not only in the process of arranging for a sequel of Zombieland but are ALSO aiming to make it in 3D! For a movie that cost $24 million to make and has earned over $85 million on box office sales alone it was kind of a no brainer that we would see a return to the big screen for this, hopefully trilogy or franchise.
