Actor Ken Foree, best known for his role in the original Dawn of the Dead, is in talks with Talking Wolfe Productions to reprise his role as Agent Mortimer Reyes from Zone of the Dead. The sequel that is being planned is called Wrath of the Dead.
In the original Zone of the Dead, Ken Foree played Interpol Agent Reyes who was in charge of transporting a prisoner to Belgrade. However, they encounter a problem with all the locals have been mysteriously infected and their only chance of surviving is working with the prisoner.
Wrath of the Dead takes place in a small town in East Quebec, where the chief of the police encounters an invasion of the walking dead. He then enlists his friend, Mortimer Reyes who has dealt with this problem before. However, they realize that the government is trying to cover it up and agents have been sent out to kill anybody that knows about the incident.
