Interview With Zombieland Creators

It’s been mentioned before but the writers of Zombieland, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, originally wanted to make Zombieland into a TV series. In this interview they toss out how some of the parts that stuck out in the movie would have been incorperated into a series and that they would still love to do one.

After they are doing making the movies could we have a series to look forward to? Perhaps the Zombieland franchise will become a trilogy followed by a recasting that goes onto one of the premium networks? I could see this working out well on HBO or Showtime without having to tone down the violence and gore. POssibly even AMC (imagine if they had two shows!) or FX.

I for one would be all over watching this if it came out.
