- For anyone who missed it Frank Darabont (Famous for his work on Stephen King films) will be directing The Walking Dead for AMC.
- AMC has ordered 6 episodes initially to start the series and each of these are rumored to be an hour in length.
- Bloody Disgusting announced that the pilot episode will start filming on May 15th in Atlanta, GA.
Casting News
- The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Andrew Lincoln has been cast for the lead in the show, Rick Grimes.
- Previously it was reported that Jon Bernthal was cast in the roll as Shane Walsh, Rick’s police partner from before the outbreak.
- Fear.Net announced that Jeffrey DeMunn, who has been in many of Frank Darabont’s films, has been cast for the show.
- Brandon Routh denied the rumor of him being cast for a role in The Walking Dead
