Zombie Walk In Lakewood, OH on April 24th 2010
It looks like Ohio has a few Zombie Walks coming up this year.
OLD SCHOOL SINEMA kicked off Cleveland’s first CHARITY ZOMBIE WALK in Nov. 2007. A day filled with alcohol, live music and 75 zombies invading the city streets of Lakewood in the afternoon, the event was a huge success with its canned food drive and the blood mobile blood donations. The 2nd Annual OLD SCHOOL SINEMA Cleveland Chartiy Zombie Walk (Nov. 29, 2008) was even bigger and better! There were a handful of bands on hand to perform during the event. We increased our zombie numbers to 125 zombies and we raised well over 200 pounds of food! The 3rd (now it’s going to be twice a year, NOT just annual!) OSS Cleveland Charity Zombie Walk was huge. With over 230 zombies (and 300 total in attendance), including special guest Bill Hinzman of “NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD” fame, the event raised nearly 700 pounds of food for the Harvest For Hunger. Zombies came from all over Ohio, including Toledo, Columbus and Cincinnati, as well as Pennsylvania and Michigan. The 4th OSS Zombie Walk, held on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, had another huge turnout….let’s get at least 500 zombies to the 5th OSS Cleveland Charity Zombie Walk on April 24, 2010!
