So according to the trailer:
The end of the world is near. They once opened the gate to hell. Now they have returned to the past to face the power of darkness.
The key is hidden between the past and future.
To save the world from demise
It looks like someone screwed up and opened a door to hell causing the devil to come to Earth and create a huge zombie invasion. A group of soldiers appears to be all that stands between the demon and the end of the world.
