Resident Evil: Afterlife Release Date And Info!

It looks as if we are going to get a chance to own the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise this year after all! For those who haven’t been following the series it is one of the only video game franchises to do an ‘ok’ job at translating to the big screen (and the 4th was MUCH better then the third.) So later this year we’ll be seeing the DVD release at $28.95, a Blu-ray release at $34.95, AND Blu-ray 3D *sigh* release at $39.95on December 28th. Now you’ll note that sigh there because I hate the 3Dization of Hollywood, though I’ll sadly admit I saw the film in 3D. Yes. I know.

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich) continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive, the city is overrun by thousands of Undead and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
