Handing the Undead To Get A Theatrical Release And WHY THIS IS AWESOME!
I was excited when Handling The Undead was released as a book and now that there is news that it will be released as a feature film? I can’t help but want to see it. Bloody Disgusting reported that this was coming out to the big screen soon and I have to stay I am 110% stoked.
But why am I so excited about a Swedish novel being turned into a horror film? Well for those of you who have lived under a rock in horror for the past year the author of this novel, John Ajvide Lindqvist, wrote Let The Right One In. Which is one of the best vampire novels to be released followed up with one of the best vampire movies to be released in the past 10 years. (Also followed by a US re-make but I haven’t seen that quite yet. I’ve heard it’s good but not AS good.) He clearly knows how to write an amazing book to be turned into an amazing film if the proper talent is assigned to it.
I for one can’t wait!
