FINALLY a director for the movie adaption of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is confirmed
It’s been a long run trying to get the movie project of this zombie novel classic turned potential movie actually to the big screen. With the loss of the original director as well as Natalie Portman from the film it appeared as if it had fallen into limbo. Rumors were abound on what was going to happen with the film but no one was able to get a straight answer. So who gets to take a stab at this modern take on a ‘literary classic’? Well none other then Mike White!!

Who? That was my response. Well Mike White was responsible for writing Year of the Dog, Nacho Libre, and The School of Rock , a few episodes of Freaks and Geeks, a few of Dawson’s Creek, and Dead Man on Campus. He’s also directed Year of the Dog. So I’m not exactly sure how I feel about the film’s potential. Maybe we can get Dawson back on the big screen as Darcy and return as the heartthrob for teen girls everywhere. Teen girls who will want to grow up and kill zombies not chase after gay sparkley wannabe vampires.
