First let me thank Chris Zenga for the wonderful Zombie Santa that is pictures above! Perfectly captures how we feel about Santa and the holidays!
Now then onto business! Today is a lot of different things to a lot of different people.
For some it’s to worship the birth of one of the first recorded zombies (hey.. don’t give me that look. He rose from the dead and there’s all kinds of talk about eating his flesh and drinking his blood.)
For some it’s a day to worship a great fat God of presents who likes to sneak into your house while you are asleep, who watches you ALL YEAR ROUND, trying to decide if you’re nice or just a little naughty. He does love giving switches to people who are naughty doesn’t he?
For most it’s a day to be with family. It doesn’t matter if it’s biological, adopted, or those who have become family through love or friendship it’s a day to be together. It’s a day to celebrate the good times with one another and celebrate being together.
For some though it’s a day to happily be alone. Getting away from everyone and everything for a day to have some piece and quiet.
No matter how YOU enjoy spending your holiday just remember – it IS a holiday. Take the day off and relax. Get your mind full of egg nog, presents, and whatever makes you happy. So finally to celebrate is a fun little Christmas Carol we infected just for your pleasure!
I saw Mommy eating Santa Claus
during the outbreak last night
She didn’t see me creep
down the stairs to have a peep;
She thought that I was asleep
a late night snack to eatThen I saw Mommy rip at Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so gory red;
Oh what a relief it would have been
If Daddy had only shot
