The Walking Dead’s Editor Hunter Via Nabs ACE Eddie Nomination
The American Cinema Editors society has announced their picks for the nominees of the 61st Annual ACE Eddie awards which honor excellence in film and television editing. The Walking Dead’s editor Hunter Via has is up for the “Best Edited One-Hour Series for Commercial Television.” It faced a lot of competition but he is up for his work on the Season 1 Pilot, “Days Gone Bye.” The best part is up is up against another AMC show with Kelly Dixon’s work on Breaking Bad.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 19th and hopefully will be one of the ceremonies to properly give credit to The Walking Dead’s amazing short series run!
