McFarlane To Create The Walking Dead Toys
So according to MTV if you are at Toy Fair 2011 you are going to be in a LOT of luck. The McFarlane Toys booth (booth #4823) is going to be showcasing the upcoming The Walking Dead toys that are due to be released! I’m only let down that there are’t MORE types available in each set and that there are 2 Rick’s coming out so close to one another. I understand one is based off of the comics and one is based off of the TV show but it’s still kind of annoying. That gripe aside – AWESOME! The Walking Dead toys by McFarlane!
The first series of deluxe 6-inch figures is releasing in September 2011, includes four fan-favorite characters from the Image comic book including:
THE WALKING DEAD Series 1
– Officer Rick Grimes
– Michonne
– Zombie Lurker
– Zombie RoamerThe second series of deluxe 6-inch figures is revealed in November 2011 and introduces four figures based on AMC’s original drama including:
THE WALKING DEAD Series 2
– Deputy Rick Grimes
– Daryl Dixon
– Zombie Walker
– Zombie BiterEach human figure includes multiple interchangeable accessories and several points of articulation for limitless possibility and customization. Each zombie figure features unique, gory, play action such as exploding heads and removable limbs. Figures are expected to sell for around $14.99 at retailers nationwide.
These action figures are going to be sweet. With McFarlane toys heading up the project I know the details and everything will be awesome. I work for Dish Network and I am also a scriber and I love catching The Walking Dead in HD. It just makes the gore and everything keep you more on edge! Dish has a great promotion right now for HD Free for Life for qualifying customers so if you don’t have HD it may be time to make the switch before the next season comes out!
Man I used to have almost everything McFarlane made and I mean EVERYTHING
I may have to restart my collection with these figures.
And he’ll be able to just keep doin em cause there’s no limit to how he can make them 🙂
