The 2 Awakening Sisters Have Been Cast
Remember back in January when we announced that The CW was bringing us a zombie drama about 2 sisters who are at war in the middle of a world gone to hell? (Well to the undead at least.)
Well now the two sisters have been cast and they are Lucy Griffiths (from Robin Hood) who is playing Jenna, the elder sister that works as an attorney in the New York City public defender’s office.
The younger sister will be portrayed by Meredith Hagner from the FX show “Lights Out” (the only ‘gritty’ drama on FX I haven’t watched yet but as the rest are mostly good she’s got a chance at being a great actress.) She is ‘coming of age’ during the zombie uprising.
A few of the descriptions seem to give a feel that there are going to be zombies ‘living normal lives’ throughout the outbreak. I’m not sure if that means we’re getting intelligent zombies or was just a typo. Hopefully we’ll get an official description of the show soon!
