The Zombie Apocalypse Is Coming

According to TV Guide Syfy has a zombie film coming out this October entitled Zombie Apocalypse. It takes place following a group of survivors who are traveling to an island refuge that is supposedly safe from infection. As we’ve seen in other movies all island refuges are surely safe from zombie infection. Apparently they have to make a cross country run to get to a (plane? boat? magical teleporter?) to get them to the island, and from there – safety! With apparently the majority of humanity now the walking dead though this little trip won’t be easy.

Now a LOT of Syfy shows and movies are full of cheese so I’m not sure what we’re going to expect from this but on the flip side of that they’ve also put out some amazing shows and features so I’m hoping for a fun film. Speaking of shows – we’ve heard no follow up information on the original news we heard back in August of 2010 about Syfy working on a zombie themed TV series entitled Zeros.
