While it’s not 110% confirmed that Resident Evil 5 will be a sequel, Bloody Disgusting pointed out that Sienna Guillory (who plays Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil films) mentioned on Twitter that:

RE:5 alert! Training begins! I aim to mostly put less in the big hole on the front of my face than comes out of the little one on my arse

So while it “could” be a spin off film that we’ll see released on September 14, 2012, I highly doubt that we won’t see a return of Alice to at the very least finish off her story with the cliffhanger ending from Resident Evil(4): Afterlife.

    I’ve heard Mila will be a secondary character in this movie and also on http://www.torrentoff.com i downloaded video with her interview, where she says the movie have been already startedto shooting, but she doesn’t want to tell what we can expect from this movie!

      That’s what we’re thinking she’s going to be from everything we’ve been hearing but I suppose only time will tell for sure! (I mean the last one was supposed to be the “LAST” one.)
