The Deadpool zombie was able to survive the entire Marvel Zombie plague and make it to the ‘regular’ Marvel Earth. While it fails to infect the populace there is another small outbreak occurring and it takes an extremely random group of heroes to put down the outbreak.

Deadpool zombie aka Headpool also co-stars through the entire Deadpool: Merc with a Mouth maxi-series. That series takes place almost entirely in the Marvel universe that was decimated by the virus. It’s a good read for fans of Deadpool’s…uniqueness.

    I liked him but not enough to trade my money for Deadpool Corps. Marvel Zombies 1 was great, 2 was okay, Marvel Apes/Marvel Zombies crossover had potential and the 1st appearance in Ultimate Fantastic Four was genius but the franchise needs the bullet to the brain base in a most terrible way. Sadly, I am a recovering Marvel Zombie in all sense of the phrase.

      I REALLY enjoyed the Ultimates story line that they went with. I’m hoping they still can bring back the ‘fun’ of Marvel Zombies but after reading this one I have to agree I’m kind of losing my enthusiasm for the undead int he Marvel Universe :/

        The Ultimate FF Crossover story line was golden. Great story and art! Now… eh. *sigh*

        Sadly with recent events in the Ultimate universe they can’t go that route again.. Unless… that’s how they actually end the Ultimate universe!
