Mary Doe Goes Into Pre-Production And More!
Back in February of 2010 we showed off Mary Doe Trailer of an early build of a video game in the works. What we didn’t know for sure at the time is that it was for sure a zombie game – it is. What we also didn’t know at the time is that it was going to be turned into a feature film as well. That’s right. Mary Doe is going to be a movie / game tie in. Worried? You shouldn’t be.
Why shouldn’t you be worried?
Really only for 1 reason. Tom Savini. Yes THAT Tom Savini that we all know and love is attached to the project so even if it turns out ‘bad’ it won’t be THAT bad. (Honestly with how it’s shaping up I’m starting to get my hopes on this one being a slam dunk compared to so many films falling short of the goal.)
What’s the film about?
A twelve-day trek across the desert and the insignificant form that is Mary Doe has exhausted all life within her. Rescued from death’s door, she finds herself abandoned with five men, in a decommissioned government facility used for testing biological weapons.
Lost with no memory of who she is and no placement in this world, she finds no reason to want to win her freedom – to journey back from the dead!
