Humor: Squid Bits
I recently stumbled across a website entitled Squid Bits. While it is not a pure zombie humor site it does have a LOT of zombie humor (and apparently a lot of plans to add even more in!) The artwork is all done by Jess Bradley, a character designer who lives in Bristol, England. I have to say she really does some amazing work.
It’s a cartoon based style but one that, while simple, it is not without detail. It’s one of those styles that make you long for seeing zombies filling books aimed at children, or parents who have children who appreciate horror. It’s really a style that really fits with the type of humor that they are going for which is portrayed by some of the examples I’ve picked out here. Hell I’m half tempted to try to talk her into doing a few co-op projects I’ve had in mind for awhile but as I can’t pay aside from splitting profits.. probably not!
