Plants vs Zombies To Infect Facebook Next
Right after the huge announcement that EA purchased PopCam games and their franchises they are jointly announcing that they are bringing a couple of PopCap games to Facebook. While the other one is Peggle which we don’t really care about (I actually play it a lot on my phone but that doesnt matter) the important one is – Plants Vs Zombies.
Yes the franchise we all love is coming to Facebook!Back in May a social edition of Plants vs Zombies was released in China on their social network Renren. This format of the game added a two-minute rampage mode where you are trying to kill as many zombies as possible before the timer hits. Is this what we will see in the Facebook edition? Will we see a new game mode? Will it be advertisement or microtransaction based? Clearly they have a revenue plan in mind as all previous versions of the ame were sold. That being said what are we going to be looking for on this one? Does Facebook have a sneaky plan in mind to start selling game access?
I suppose it’s only a matter of time before we see what officially happens!
