Another Nail In Zombieland 2’s Coffin
Awhile back we let you know that Woody Harrelson wasn’t sure about Zombieland 2 and more recently Jesse Eisenberg also said while he wanted it to happen it wasn’t looking good. Well for the trifecta according to a recent press interview that Coming Soon was at: Ruben Fleischer, Zombieland’s director, basically said-
I can promise you it’s something we all want to do. I think the reality of it happening is getting less and less real. It’s just harder and harder every day because everybody’s gotten really busy, and the reality is that we’ve never had a script that we’ve all just fallen in love with. Until there’s a script that we all can say, ‘This is it,’ it’s more of an idea than an actual thing that we can work towards prioritizing and realizing.
So that’s sounding like the 2 male leads and the director are basically throwing in the towel on a sequel being made. I don’t know about you but I personally would gladly sit through a film of just Emma Stone killing the undead wearing something pleasing on the eyes while being a bad ass. I mean that could just be me but…. honestly I believe ‘most’ of at the very least our male readers would agree with that one.
Well, that sucks, but I’d rather them not make a sequel then throw together some piece of crap just to make a buck. There are plenty of lousy zombie movies to fill that gap.
Agreed but I kind of feel as if they are half assing that response. It really all started with Woody saying he wasn’t even interested in doing the sequel pre-plot even being mentioned.
