Rob Corddry To Star In Warm Bodies

Rob Corddry of the daily show is in negotiations to be a zombie in the upzoming ZomRom (UGH) Warm Bodies. We are going to have a review of the novel up for you soon to be able to let you know exactly what at least one of our reviewers feels about this one.

Also on the cast? R, the self-aware zombie that makes this the story that it is, will be played by Nocholas Hoult and the girl that he tried to get wth will be played by Teresa Palmer.

I’m very iffy on the concept of this film. I really am. The flipside though is the director is SPECTACULAR. Jonathen Levine is responsible for All the Boys Love Mandy Land and The Wackness. These are 2 of the best films that I’ve seen and that means, content aside, it’ll at least be a visually and well put together film.

Who knows, I can’t say first hand how this is going to be. That’s what the review will be for.

    Well, I read the novel, Warm Bodies, and I adored it. I loved the way it all played out and I loved the characters. I’m a fan of ZomRoms though. It’s such an odd pairing. Not many can pull off a zombie/romance combination, but Isaac Marion did it well, in my opinion. I wouldn’t call this the Twilight of zombie fiction because he didn’t rape the legend of zombies the way Twilight raped the legend of the vampire. I thought it was well done and I look forward to the movie. I might even read the book again. That’s how much I liked it.

      I always try to mention that *I* haven’t read it quite yet. 

      I’ve heard good things but the concept rubs *me* the wrong way but I try not to sound off too much until I’ve actually cracked open my copy… fortunately we have another reviewer coming out with a review next week!
