Dead Of Night Book Trailer

First off I’m really impressed with how well this book trailer was done. I want to see it in film form. Of course being a huge fan of Maberry’s work I want to see it in film form regardless.

Still right at the 1:55 mark when it showed the gas station all I could think of was the cover of Rhiannon Frater’s The First Days. It’s not the same gas station at all but more the tone I felt from seeing that shot vs the book cover.

While I’ve been withholding from posting book trailers I think if any are truly exceptional like this one I’m going to let it slide so you can enjoy what would also make a great film trailer.

A prison doctor injects a condemned serial killer with a formula designed to keep his consciousness awake while his body rots in the grave. But all drugs have unforeseen side-effects. Before he could be buried, the killer wakes up. Hungry. Infected. Contagious.

Small town cop Dez Fox and her partner JT are caught in a wave of murder as everyone they know and love die…only to rise again as the ravenous living dead. If Dez and JT can’t contain the plague inside the town limits, the infection will spread beyond all control.

This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang…but a bite.
