As shown here Ray Villafane is a pumpkin carving master. He has mixed the greatest pumpkin ever created with a master pumpkin carver and zombies! It’s a beautiful mix and one I can’t help but support because, let’s face it, we love zombies here.

This year he had the pleasure of working on a 1,800 pound giant pumpkin and a 1693 poung pumpkin at the New York Botanical Garden. It was actually 2 pumpkins. The larger of the two pumpkins was turned into the base of the display while the other was used to caved out the zombies that were ‘breaking through’ the pumpkin.

THIS my friends is part of what Halloween is all about. A celebration of pumpkins, a celebration of zombies, a celebration of talent. It’s just a huge pile of fun that I believe everyone should be able to see.
