It looks as if there is a new Italian-zombie in the works as Solid State has recently wrapped in Torino. Directed by Stefano Milla with a script by Gero Giglio we have a film that shall hopefully give us an absolutely outstanding zombie film. Debbie Rochon (Night of the Living Dead and Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead) and Suzi Lorraine (Zombies Anonymous) are going to star in the film and both have a ton of experience in horror and as you can see above, zombies as well.

About the film Stefano had this to say:

“SOLID STATE was the type of movie that when you start to shoot it, you have one idea, but when you reach the last day of production, you realize it has come alive, strayed far from your original concept and grown on its own in many ways, for the better,” the director says. “The movie has definitely taken an even better shape than I expected! This was because of many things: The crew was made up of the best professionals/friends I could have; I expected cold and rain and we had a second spring. This almost no-budget movie became a project to believe in with all my heart, and that’s because of the actors, without a doubt. Debbie, Suzi, Ava and Diego were all great. Sometimes I hesitated to cut the scene because I was totally caught up by Debbie’s acting. The characters become deeper than they were in the script, and the movie is now their story. I’m sure that the audience will love them.”
