Sean Bingham has an interesting idea here with the undead being created by technology (and not just a standard virus.) Interesting concept though kind of a lackluster trailer. Still it got me to find out about his book so I’m making sure to share that with you!
Zombacter: Center City Contagion The first book in a horrifying new series This terrifying spin on zombies is a thrill ride of gruesome twists and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat and forever afraid of the dark. Professor Jake Northrop was on track to build the world’s first biocomputer using genetically engineered bacteria when something went terribly wrong. Now that something has just become top of the food chain. He’s horrified to learn that his experimental bacterium, Zombacter, turns people into flesh-eating monsters. While most of Professor Northrop’s accidental creations are lumbering idiots, some are very different. They can out run you. They can out think you, and they’re hungry! With the help of Bill Santini, a homeless, one-armed veteran, and a small group of survivors, the professor must run a gauntlet of ghouls to escape Center City and find a cure for the zombie plague.

Thank you Stuart. I really appreciate your commentary. I tried to garner some “sympathy for the devil†so to speak. Even though zombie Ruben does some very horrible things in my novel, I wanted to show people that some bad things happened to him as well. I shot the video you see here with a Sony Handicam and homemade latex prosthetics. I didn’t have the money for zombie contact lenses so I figured the Night-time mode on the handicam would provide the creepy glowing eyes for free. The draw back is the stop-action, low quality video. Admittedly, I’m not an actor so I did the best I could as Ruben, the villainous zombie from my series. I’m planning a full-length “movie-style” trailer for the next installment in the Zombacter series once I get the software and other equipment I need. I hope to enlist actors for the next one…if they will work for cheap 😉 I wrote and performed the music specifically for this trailer using Audacity Freeware and I used the moviemaker on my laptop to put it all together. I glad you enjoyed it enough to tell others about it.

Thank you again Stuart.

Sean,
Thanks for ‘stopping by’ and giving an update on where you were going with the novel and how you both created the video and ideas for a future one! Always appreciate extra information!Â
