Well the real news is that Code Red is not only on it’s way to be released (filming in March of 2012 with a planned fourth quarter release!) but it’s also picked up distribution! The film was done by Outsider Pictures and was being shopped around in the American Film Market earlier this month. Well it’s now been sold and has found distribution with eOne in the U.S., Blighty, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, Scandinavia, South Africa and New Zealand. It’s been created by Valeri Milev who is releasing “Re-Kill” which is coming out by After Dark this year.

So what’s it about?

“The story is about a female doctor struggling to find her daughter after a long lost World War II biological weapon explodes on a U.S. military base in Bulgaria, turning people into mutant zombies.”
