From now until January 23rd if you’re looking to put together a zombie trailer now you’ve got a contest that you can enter it into! The prizes include some neat swag as well as THE winner being able to have their video actually used for promotion and be released on the DVD.
The Dead Mile is launching a contest through YouTube for fans to create their own trailer for the film. We provide you the B-roll, and you provide us with a kick ass trailer that’s under a minute and a half. The more gore the better.
* You must have a YouTube account, and must be over 14 years of age.
* The trailer also must include the tagline “We See Thee Riseâ€, the title graphic The Dead Mile, and feature the website at the end of your trailer.
* We have music for you to use. Baleful, the title track for The Dead Mile is a demo right now. If you use it, it will be replaced with the studio version, produced by Garth Richardson (Rage Against the Machine) in 2012. All other tracks are yours to edit, mash and do what you will! And, if there is music that you created and you think it will fit the trailer better, fill out our release form and use it! You must have copyright on any other songs or your submission will not be used…unless Marilyn Manson says yes, stay away from commercial tracks.
* Upload the video to The Dead Mile YouTube as a video response then tell your friends to like, view, comment and share your amazing work.
* The winner is based on the quality and the amount of views and likes the video receives.

4.Post your completed video as a “video response” under the comments section of this video.Winners will be determined by The Dead Mile judging committee based on likes, views, comments, and quality of video.
