For those who were lucky (lucky? might not be the right word) Zombie Apocalypse was shown early on SyFy. For those who don’t have SyFy or missed this, amazing zombie film, ahem. So there are going to be a few options here: DVD, Blu-ray and On Demand will all be showing the film on December 27th. The Asylum always puts out some interesting zombie films and while some are horrible to even think about some are watchable. This one had a strange kind of entertaining. I’m not sure if I can exactly recommend it to buy but it may just be worth a rent.
Ramona (Taryn Manning), Billy (Eddie Steeples) and Kevin (Gerald Webb) have just come down from a hideaway in the mountains months after a zombie apocalypse. They are immediately beset by a dozen zombies and rescued by Mack, Cassie, Hammer, and Julian who are on their way to Catalina Island, the last refuge of humanity. They take the newcomers under their wing as they hunt for supplies, kill massive amounts of zombies, and try to survive.
