So anyone in ‘my’ generation probably grew up with Oregon Trail as a game they played in either school or just for a game in general. As EVERYTHING else out there though it can only be better with zombies. Yes ORGAN TRAIL gives us the classic game in a west that is overrun by the living dead!
No, that isn’t a typo. Organ Trail is a zombie-parody-remake of the classic game, Oregon Trail, for the Apple 2.

So we’ve decided to listen to the fan’s comments and turn Organ Trail into a proper game for iPhone, iPad and Android. We want the PC/Mac version to be something that you would buy on services like Steam or Desura.
Totally fake story behind the game:
“Originally developed many years ago as a teaching tool for students, schools across America used the game to prepare children for the impending zombie apocalypse, and dysentery. But what the public doesn’t know is that the released version does not follow the program director’s original design. Before they tried to have him killed, he stole all the code and it has taken him 40 years to program the game in his own vision. Unfortunately no one uses the Apple-II anymore, so he’s putting it on those newfangled phones.”
