So this isn’t “news” as it’s actually from a month back and I unfortunately haven’t been keeping up on Kickstarter but it looks as if a short zombie film that’s going to run about 10 minutes long has gotten it’s funding. We should be seeing it out at some point this year and it looks like it’s got an interesting plot (and perfect for a short film length wise.)
UNDYING LOVE is a film about two things that make the world go ’round: love and zombies.
THE STORY
UNDYING LOVE is the brainchild of LA actors Mikayla Park and Anthony Marquez (who are, incidentally, engaged to be married). Born out of a very real conversation held in their kitchen, it is a cautionary tale of the pitfalls of a modern relationship… between two people who have perhaps seen too many horror movies. True to life, Mikayla and Anthony have, in fact, seen too many horror movies. They are not, however, horror movie actors. The result is a comedy with wit, a bit of romance, and a lot of fake blood.
THE PLAN
UNDYING LOVE is a roughly 10-minute short film, to be shot over a 3-day weekend, produced by Spy Tech Films spytechfilms.com. The funds we hope to secure will be used for locations, equipment, crew, and zombie make-up/ effects. We are also preparing for a rather hefty dry cleaning bill due to zombie make-up/ effects.
