Fubar Empire of the Rising Dead! is a graphic novel that on January 29th 2012 was #6 on the New York Times Graphic Novel best seller list. While a non The Walking Dead zombie graphic novel making the top 10 is a win in it’s own right this one has the added benefit of being supported by Kickstarter. You know, Kickstarter, that little fund raiser we often talk about for upcoming zombie projects. This is the proof that these projects are not just pipe dreams. They get done (we know that is a fact) and this proves once again that they CAN be successful – in a big way!
Surprisingly enough the company had turned to IndieGoGO for a previous FUBAR release to avoid bankruptcy and with it’s success has now not only funded the second one but as you can tell has done an amazing job at selling it.
It’s amazing what a little crowd funding can do!
