We had previously shown that Zombie Apocalypse Now In A Minute was coming soon and now we’re happy to show you 4 preview pages as well as announce that the first cover and page of the first issue are also online! (You’ll have to click the link at the end for that.) Jamie McGowan has put together some amazing work for his creative world and visually it looks like it’ll be a ton of fun. Cardiff, the Capital city of Wales explodes to life in a wash of colour and excitement every year as it host the Rugby 6 Nations championships. Wales is Rugby mad and nearly 200,000 people descend on the city for an all day drinking session of epic proportions… by the end of the day the streets are littered with sunken eyes, staggering, lonely figures. Clad in red jerseys and many of them bearing war wounds from the days drinking, these drunks staggers from wall to wall looking for food or a taxi home… It is reminiscent of a Zombie movie…. My inspiration for Zombie Apocalypse Now In A Minute.
I dig the style of this so far and really need to hold myself back so I can check out a good chuck of the story line at once. It’s an interesting prelude and the first page of the first official chapter has my interest doubly piqued!
