Back in December we mentioned that Todd Gardner had gotten Andy Fickmen a script for the film and it was going to be in the works. There really was nothing solid on the film past that and until now we hadn’t heard anything else on the matter – until now.

Apparently Paramount has been using some serious shopping power to find a director to the film and now according to The Hollywood Reporter it looks as if they have found their director in Etan Cohen. While he hasn’t really done much in the world of directing yet he did do the screenplays for Idiocracy, Tropic Thunder, and Men in Black 3 so I have a feeling a bit of humor is expected to be in the film.

The interview did give us a VERY brief plot on the film though which is more details then we had before:

With an “it’s all in the title” moniker, Boy Scouts centers on a troop that must save a group of girl scouts from a pack of zombies with designs on spoiling a camping trip.

Still vague but at least now we have an idea of what to expect.
