Written by Sean Huze (screenplay for The Tell Tale Heart, screenplay for The Wolf and the stage play The Sand Storm) we are going to be given a tale that takes place 25 years into a zombie outbreak where humanity has (of course) fallen apart. We follow a comunity that has arisen and built an area of safety though their resources, always stretched thing, are at an all time low. They set out to scavage in the unknown for the first time in decades and find how far humanity has truly fallen. It’s going to star Jack McLaughlin (Frontier, In the Valley of Elah, Crash) is going to be an ex-sheriff that leads the group looking for supplies.

Zombies. Sheriff. Walking Dead mentions aside this could be a good idea. We’ll let you know more as we find out more!

More than a quarter century has passed since humanity lost the war to the undead. A ragged group of families have managed to survive within the walls of Stone Compound, a make shift safe-haven for survivors led by Mike Stone (McLaughlin).

This growing community was never meant to be permanent, and is now on the verge of collapse. Resources are low and for the first time in over two decades, Mike leads a team to scavenge beyond the protection of the compound. He is joined by Lee (Webb) and Andy (Huze). Unknowingly, they trespass on the property of Curtis Strong, the plantation boss of Rosewood.
