So we’ve got an interesting mashup of a zombie-esque story with your standard post-apocalyptic world. I really have no idea what to make of the plot or trailer quite yet. I think I’m going to need to see more before I can make any kind of judgement on this one. I’m also not fully sold on it being ‘zombies’ but I keep reading zombies associated with this film.

The first tone poem as film trailer for the upcoming Moderngrumble. The coming of age story of a young monster and possible messiah told as a mash up between The Bride of Frankenstein and Jack Kerouac’s On the Road. We hope our audience will sense the style we are pursuing in telling an unconventional story in an unconventional manner. First in our attempts to recontextualize the zombie genre film is the sense of lyricism and pacing that you will see on display in this piece. Our goal with Moderngrumble is not simply to make a scary or disturbing film but to attempt to bring poetry and beauty to death as well as death and decay to those perceptions generally considered beautiful. enjoy, elaborate, collaborate, create.
