The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. Popcap has announced that Plants vs Zombies 2 is in the works. In fact it even has a release date! Well not an official release date but we have a season and a year and that is going to be “spring 2013” that we’ll be seeing the sequel to one of the best selling (and most entertaining) zombie games of all time.
I STILL go back and play it on occasion and I can’t say that about any other zombie game that I’ve beaten.
There are NO details yet on the game aside from the fact that there will be: “New features, settings and situations, designed to delight the franchise’s tens of millions of fans around the world.”
A sequel to Plants vs Zombies is going to have high expectations but as long as they don’t screw with the formula that works so well and just add new features I don’t think we have anything to worry about.
