Thanks to Fangoria we’ve found that Synapse Films is releasing The Definitive Document of the Dead on November 13th of this year. While the documentary was previously released this will be a re-edited and remastered edition of Roy Frumkes’ portrait of George A. Romero. Its being done as a Dawn of the Dead behind-the-scenes look with a slew of new and exclusive material that hasn’t seen the light of day before. It will also be including additional interviews with Romero’s family and friends, candid on-set footage from TWO EVIL EYES, LAND OF THE DEAD, DIARY OF THE DEAD and SURVIVAL OF THE DEAD and other surprises, plus a fresh audio commentary by Frumkes.
