Year 5 for a zombiewalk in Wilmington, NC that is looking to have a 300+ undead turn out!
This is our fifth year of zombie walks to benefit the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. Please bring 3 canned or non-perishable food items (or $5) to participate in the walk.
We open for bizness at 1pm to get people made up, distribute wristbands and get a drink with your fellow zombies at the Soapbox Laundrolounge. The walk will start at 4:00pm so please come earlier especially if you need makeup since we’re expecting roughly 300 undead ghouls to attend. This is a family friendly event, but if you bring kids under 13 there will need to be one adult per child to supervise the young ones. Our horde will proceed on a route through downtown Wilmington between Walnut and Orange Streets along Front and Water Streets. There will be route maps available on the day.
Our highly skilled makeup artists will be on hand so please bring $3 for their gore-tastic services (including fake blood, latex scars, wounds, and/or prosthetics) if you would rather not do it yourself before you come downtown.
The after party will be in 2 locations this year starting at 6pm and going until all the zombies return to their graves! Your zombie walk wristband will get you into both The Soapbox and The Juggling Gypsy for the evening’s entertainment. Admission to the shows is $5 for non-walk participants. There will be raffle prizes at both locations donated from area merchants.
