We’ve previously reviewed Dead Things so are happy to share with you the Chicago Release Party information! Its coming up this month in Chicago and should be great to have the author read from it (and there’s booze!)
The Globe Pub will be hosting a book release party for local author Matt Darst and his debut novel, Dead Things, on October 26, 2012. Come by, have a pint, and listen to Mr. Darst read an excerpt from his genre-redefining novel. The reading is free for the public, and copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
Dead Things is an expression of Mr. Darst’s inner fanboy and his love of all things George Romero. It is a dystopian tale, an amalgam of Clerks, Crichton, and Zombieland.
Signed and personalized paperbacks will be available at the event for $6 (while supplies last).
For my friends and family outside of Chicago, I know it will be difficult to attend. Please feel free to share this event, however, with anyone with even a passing interest in horror, zombies, or beer!
