So this is a bit of a fail on our part. October is getting close to its end and I *JUST* realized I never posted the update on how Zombie Hood is coming along with the October update! Gah! I’ve been excited about this film for sometime so am always happy to give you all of the latest news from it! Also they have some word on when we’ll be seeing a trailer which is – not until they are done with it. The exact response they should give as it shouldn’t suffer from being rushed after how much work has been put into this film. Don’t worry though – once it’s out we’ll be sharing it with you!

Post Production…

Not a lot to talk about this month, so I’ll keep it short for now.

It’s all about sound, music, sound, music and sound, with a little bit of CGI and colour correction thrown in for good measure. The post production team have had a little bit of a break to work on other projects, but now it’s all hands to the pumps as we nail everything down before our December deadline.

Everyone keep asking about a trailer, which we will be working on soon, but not until we have everything completed, allowing us to pick out the bits we want to use for the teaser. There’s still a couple of scenes that aren’t quite there so as soon as they are finished, we’ll look at the trailer in more depth for you.

Dwyz has completed the majority of the soundtrack, which is sounding great and we’ve now pulled in Craig Newson to help us tidy up the cut scenes, freeing up some of the post production team to concentrate on the all important sound aspects of the film. Steve Askey is finishing off the CGI and Darren is about to start making the sounds that will put everyone on edge when they’re watching the film, something called Foley for those of you who didn’t know.

We’re also filming some cast interviews during November in the smallest cinema in the world, well at least we think it is. Screen 22 in Nottingham will play host to the cast interviews that we’re hoping to release in December. They’ll also include some cuts from the film, so keep an eye out for them.

There are still a few tickets left for the Sunday Premiere showing in January for Zombie Hood, but once they’ve gone, they’ve gone, so get yours now to avoid disappointment.

Don’t forget to check our Facebook page for more updates during October, including a few more screenshots; and we’ll give you some more news next month, keeping ypu updated with our progress.
