Award-winning comedic horror writer Karina Fabian is setting zombies loose on the slopes of Utah to raise money for Operation Homefront, an organization that provides emergency help for military families.
Fabian will be serializing her new novel Shambling in a Winter Wonderland with new episodes published when ten dollars is raised. The first episode goes live November 19.
According to Fabian, the story revolves around Neeta Lyfe and Ted Hacker (from her award-winning novel Neeta Lyffe, Zombie Exterminator and I Left My Brains in San Francisco).
“Neeta and Ted are in need of some R&R from zombie hunting so they hit the slopes,” explains Fabian. “When a ski team, who died the year before in an avalanche, claw their way out, looking to enter the Ute2 Hot Doggers competition, Neeta and Ted have to save the contestants and spectators.”
Those making a minimum five dollar donation will receive an electronic copy of the entire story. Those donating $25.00 or more will receive a signed copy or either Neeta Lyffe, Zombie Exterminator or I Left My Brains in San Francisco.
