Coming in March of 2013 we’re going to have a new web series entitled Vitamin Z. There’s a huge overview of the general story we found on the official website that will be below the link to the website. The trailer doesn’t give us a real good idea of the quality of the series itself quite yet but at least the plot sounds interesting.
Vitamin Z is a web series about survivors of the apocalypse that get addicted to zombie meat. Here is a short trailer of for the show. Check out more on Vitamin Z at our website: http://houseofdonproductions.com/category/vitaminz-blog/
Two Âyears ago the People’s Republic of China and its allies launched a biological attack on the world. They poured a chemical agent (virus) into the water supplies of almost every governing land around the globe. This virus quickly became known as Vitamin Z.
The symptoms of Vitamin Z tricked people at first, giving them more energy, strength and increased memory, but then quickly wore off leaving the world to die. The only survivors were the ones that learned quickly that the water supply was carrying the virus and that the reanimated dead would transmit this deadly disease if bitten.
The attack came after a failed attempt of creating a super army. China’s government had formulated a chemical compound intended to modify the genetic makeup of their soldiers. The compound was compromised before the final stage of testing was complete. This resulted in what we know as the first occurrence of the human-body dying and then reanimating itself. China did not see this as a failure, they saw it as an opportunity. They learned that the chemical did not have to be introduced through the blood system, it could enter the body in any way and still have the desired effect.
However, China was not fortunate enough to keep themselves out of harm’s way. The infection quickly engulfed the world and the apocalypse set in.
People fought for survival and many lasted for a long time. Food then became scarce and natural resources began to deteriorate. Humans started resorting to animalistic and barbaric behaviors and eventually even started turning on each other. With no hope and no relief in sight, the final survivors find it difficult to keep going.
We now bring you to the place where a small-determined group continue to fight and look to each other for support and strength. We take you to the lives of Don, Becka, Jake, Jenna, Tom, and Sarah.
