When you want to remember something, you put it somewhere memorable in your mind palace. For example, there’s a banana in the shower caddy, a giant box of Cheerios tucked into the red covers of the heart-shaped bed, and the living room is festooned with toilet paper. What three things do we need at the store? Bananas. Cheerios. Toilet Paper. BAM.
