Lucio Fulci Zombie Bobblehead

Bobbleheads have been around since 1842, perhaps even longer, but are best known for their portrayal of athletes, because honestly, what better way is there to show you admiration than through immortalizing your hero as a cranially dismorphic monster that nods ‘yes’ to whatever degrading question you ask? None in my opinion, but since their creation bobbleheads have been used to capture the linkeness of everyone from Nobel Prize winners to Jack Kerouac to even the Taco Bell Chihuahua which could debatably add to or detract from their wonder and sheer awesomeness. I guess the choice is ultimately yours.

But what’s not open for debate is the fact that the soon to be released Lucio Fulci Zombie bobblehead is amazing! Fulci, the Italian film maker who famously ended up in court for the special effects used in his 1971 movie A Lizard in Woman’s Skin (great story, perhaps the only time a fake dead dog was used in court – Google it!) later brought forth the undead cult classic Zombi 2, perhaps better known as simply Zombie in 1979. This movie is a cult classic for a multitude of gore slathered reasons, but I have always had a soft spot for the cover, which is festooned with a rotted zombie smirking joyfully as maggots tumble out of its eye. And now this fetid beauty has been captured flawlessly in a seven-inch tall bobblehead. These decomposed treasures will undoubtedly be the envy of your fellow office drones when they are released in late April, so make sure to pre-order one now for your desk because they are limited to a mere 1,000.
