…and NOT as a Zombie!

What? You may be asking yourself. How are they going to bring back Andrea to the cast and not as a zombie? Estranged twin? Nope. That only leaves one avenue. Flashbacks.

According to a recent interview with TV Line she had this to say on the topic…

It’s not up to me, you know? I’m the actor. I do what I’m told. The writers are the ones in charge of the storylines. And they write the scenes. Woulda, shoulda, coulda. Do I wish we could’ve seen and explored more of the comic-book-Robert-Kirkman Andrea? Yes. Absolutely.

Do I wish that I had more scenes with Michonne showing that friendship? Yes. Absolutely. But at the end of the day, I don’t think I could ask for a better death. I feel like her life mattered, and she died trying, and her heart was in the right place. I feel grateful for that. You can’t have it all.

Yes we all hated her. Yes she was written like such an idiot compared to the Andrea in the comic. Yes she was the logical choice to kill off. Still she was a strong character. Not intelligent by any means with how she viewed The Governor and Shane before him but still if we all hated her that much she had on screen presence.

If done right I could support bringing her back for some flashbacks to flesh out Michonne’s character. She needs some fleshing out. While they are clearly going to be doing that this next season bringing back her interactions with Andrea might be a good way to do that AND try to find a way to retract some of the negative views so many had of her character.
